2016 UNGASS on world drug problem

 In 2016, six years ago, Onyibupet Consulting Limited: A health sector consulting), the facilitator of a public health strategy, an online platform known as Youth Global platform on Hiv/aids was invited by United Nations to participate at the Special Sessions of the General Assembly (UNGASS) on world drug problem to discuss policy plans to achieve 2019 set out goals on drugs.

This 2016 Special Session was an important milestone in achieving the goals set in the policy document of 2009 "Political Declaration and Plan of Action on International Cooperation towards an Integrated and Balanced Strategy to Counter the World Drug Problem".

This process defined action to be taken by Member States as well as goals to be achieved by 2019.
